Training Need Analysis

CENMAR provides a professional Training Need Analysis (TNA) tool, designed to identify:

  • Current certifications of personnel
  • Gaps in training
  • Requirements for promotions or specific operations

This service is particularly valuable for shipowners, operators, and fleet managers who want to optimize the competence and readiness of their crews.

– Compliance and International Standards

The STCW Convention sets mandatory standards for training, certification, and watchkeeping. It requires that all training leading to a certificate must be approved by a recognized maritime authority.

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) does not directly approve courses or training centers; approval is typically granted by the maritime administration of a flag state.

CENMAR is in the process of applying for approvals from multiple flag states, aiming to become your trusted partner for STCW training in the Caribbean.
